Hip & Joint Collagen Chews
What our hip and joint chews for dogs are for
ChipperPaw Hip & Joint Collagen Chews are a daily chew made with collagen that supports hip and joint health. They're the first product we'll launch.
We made it a chew on purpose. Plenty of dogs can spot a pill hidden in their dinner, and some will eat around it. A chew skips that step, because dogs take it like a treat.
It's meant to be given every day, as part of the routine you already have. That's why we call it a daily chew and not a treat you hand out now and then.
We'll keep what we say about it simple. It's made with collagen, it supports hip and joint health, and dogs take it like a treat. We won't quote results or promise what it will do for your dog by a certain date.
If you'd like to know more about collagen itself, our guide to collagen for dogs covers what it is, the forms it comes in and how to read a label.

How many chews your dog gets will depend on their weight. We'll confirm the guidance for each size before launch. These are the same size groups you'll see on our sign-up form.

If your dog is under a year old, check with your vet before you start. The same goes for dogs with a health condition, dogs on medication, and dogs that are pregnant or nursing.
If your dog eats a special diet or has to avoid certain foods, wait for the full ingredient list before you decide. We'll publish it here before launch.
How dogs take it
You hand it over like any other treat. Your dog chews it, and that's it. There's nothing to stir into food and no pill to hide.
A daily chew is easiest to remember when it's tied to something you already do. A few ideas:
- Give it after breakfast, before you head out for the day.
- Make it the end of the evening walk, once you're back inside.
- Keep the pouch next to the leash or the food bin, where you'll see it.
Stay nearby while your dog chews, as you would with any chew. If your dog tends to gulp treats, break the chew into pieces.
Chews have calories. Count them as part of your dog's daily food, and adjust meals if your vet suggests it.

Everyday care for hips and joints
A chew is one small part of your dog's day. These everyday habits are worth keeping up too.
- Keep your dog at a weight your vet is happy with. Extra weight means extra load on every joint.
- Walk often, at a pace that suits your dog's age. Two shorter walks can suit an older dog better than one long one.
- Lay rugs or runners on slick floors so your dog has grip.
- Use a ramp or a step for the car or your bed if jumping is getting harder.
- Give your dog a supportive bed in a warm spot, away from drafts.
- Tell your vet if you notice a change in how your dog walks or gets up.
